WHY I'M
HERE
After a two year Accounting Internship Program, I received a Bachelor of Science Business Degree from CSUN. In September of 1983, I began my full-time professional career in Public Accounting with Lucas Horsfall. I continued my education spending three years with the International Accounting Firm of PriceWaterhouseCoopers and receiving a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University in 1988. I became a Partner in the Accounting Firm of Charles, Blank & Karp, LLP in 1991 and served as the managing partner since 2011. In 2019, I’ve returned home and rejoined Lucas Horsfall as a Partner.

I provide accounting, tax, estate and business advisory services to closely held corporations and high net worth individuals. I have specific industry expertise in the areas of professional corporations, real estate development, investment and exchanges.

I am a native to Southern California. When I’m not watching athletic endeavors in the great outdoors, I’m watching them indoors. I am competitive and love a grappling with governmental agencies.
